QUALIFICATIONS
Karel is a highly qualified commercial and industrial photographer with more than 32 years experience. His career began in Europe/Holland in 1976, where strict standards applied to enter the photographic profession. SPECIALTY His specialty lies in the capability to capture difficult and very integrate lighting nuances in combination with capturing the peak of the performance, delivery or atmosphere of any assignment. This skill is added to the normal press and print media requirements for publications. LECTURER Karel lectures in the subjects of principals of photography, advertising photography, the subliminal way of promoting products as well as the skill of photography for press, movie stills and architectural photography. ACMP Karel is founding member from the ACMP. Although his involvement currently is nil (he withdrew for personal reasons), the recognition of the need and the part taking in the the creation of the concept is still noticed in the fact that the ACMP has established itself as an important industry body. Mark Burgin, Eric Victor and Karel were instrumental in the first beginnings of The ACMP. From primarily supplying to entertainment industry publications and press organizations, where the assignments consists of photographing the artist's mood, expression and excitement during the performance, his stunt and action sequences from the movie Hurricane Smith are on permanent display at the Stuntmen's Hall Of Fame in LA, USA. COMMERCIAL EXPANSION Karel went on to expand his business, moving into the commercial field and serving a wide range of customers consisting of architectural firms, manufacturers and film production companies. During this time he continued to accept selected press assignments. He built up a diverse customer base Venetta Fields; The late Sammy Davis Jr.; Film production houses (Paramount, Warner Brothers) and at the same time introducing customers, Morinaga, C.P. International, Dentsu Inc, Futjitsu, Spike International, Carter Holt Group, ADCO Constructions, John Holland Group, BHP Civil Products to his client base.
